Gate Smart ‘, an ancient TV show, was an American comedy television series that satirized secret agent style. Maxwell Smart, known as Dawn Adams in Agent 86, was famous for using his secret phone shoe (as described in our cover graphic) when he was in trouble, as well. It was the wearable device of your time. Apple has now patented the patent that Samsung’s next generation secret agent is working on a Smartphone.

Samsung granted more US Patent than any other companies
Samsung has taken the top spot in a ranking of companies sorted by how many US patents they were granted. In 2016, Samsung was granted 8,551 patents, compared to IBM’s 8,062.IBM, however, is disputing this ranking. A press release published by the company on January 9 claimed that IBM was granted 8,088 patents in 2016. It said that Samsung was granted just 5,518. The discrepancy in numbers comes from the different methods that IBM and Sqoop used to count patents. IBM used data from patent tracking firm IFI Claims, which doesn’t collate patents under one company.
