Here’s Why Many People Find It Hard To Get
A Job In Their Domain.

IIPTA, we’ve trained hundreds of students who want to get a job in their domain without changing their career. From Science and engineering graduates, to lawyers and pharm graduate. We have helped everyone to enhance their careers.

And those people who struggle to find a job, they tend to have a similar kind of problems that are stopping them to achieve their desired job. They typically fail to get a job because:

  • 1. Sending the same resume on every job application:

It's simple to send the same CV to dozens of employers. I know what you're going through since I've been there....... It takes a lot less time, and it gives you the impression that you're genuinely making an effort to improve your condition. This is a "shotgun" method of job hunting. You, on the other hand, wish to develop your skills as a "sniper." And these days, ATS software (application tracking system) is often used by many companies to automatically screen out resumes that do not include specified keywords. This is unfortunate because many resumes are never even looked at by a human. Without being seen by a recruiting manager, your CV could be tossed out.

  • 2. Not well connected in the industry:

Did you realize that up to 70% of all job openings go unnoticed? These are positions that are only available to persons who have a lot of connections. That is why networking and being sociable are so vital. No one can foresee every opportunity on their own.

  • 3. Lack of Confidence:

You don't accept yourself the way you are if you lack confidence. Confidence does not imply that "they will like me," but rather that "I'll be alright if they don't." During the interview it is necessary to remember this at the back of your mind. Interviewing is a talent that can be learned. You'll grow better at it the more you do it (or read about it). You probably make a lot of errors that you aren't even aware of before getting it right.

  • 4. Having Unrealistic Expectations:

Finding a job takes roughly 9 weeks on average. That time will increase in a poor economy, and there's nothing you can do about it. And, obviously, if you apply for positions for which you are unqualified and have no experience, your chances of getting hired are significantly slimmer.

  • 5. Too Much Competition:

The more individuals looking for work, the more difficult it is to find work. It's just a matter of supply and demand. Employers will become more choosy and less ready to offer fair wages as a result of this. Companies are continuously seeking for methods to cut expenses and boost profits. Unfortunately, this frequently comes at the expense of employees. Many jobs are sent to third-world countries, where labor is less expensive than in developed ones. From a business standpoint, why pay a $50k salary to an Indian when you can pay a $25k salary to a Chinese?

  • 6. Not Applying jobs in different cities:

People generally hesitate to relocate to another city just for a job. Moving to a new place is a major decision, especially if you're married and have children. Plus, people have to make this choice on different issue such as cost of living, impact on family, living conditions in the new city and future opportunity.

  • 7. Big gap in Employment:

Employers are concerned about your employment gap, It creates a lot of questions in the mind of interviewees like : Why no one has hired him?, What really happened at your last job?, What have you been doing all this time? Even if their concerns are unsaid, you must anticipate their questions and ease their fears. They don't always ask everything they're thinking out loud.

  • 8. Only Applying for Online Jobs:

It's the twenty-first century. And everything should be online isn’t it? Well, the problem with this mindset is that you will be competing for the same job with hundreds of other people. It's difficult to make a good first impression with an email or an online job application, and it's even harder to stand out from the crowd.

  • 9. Pandemic/Covid:

One of the worst job crises since the Great Depression has been sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a significant risk that the crisis will exacerbate poverty and worsen disparities, with long-term consequences. More and more people are losing their jobs and competition has increased immensely but humans have done it in the past and we can do it again now. We just to increase our skills that are more beneficial to eliminate our competition and become more efficient in serving our company as well as society.

  • 10. Taking advice from people who are not from the same industry:

Now a days, people doubt their own ability and their self-doubt play a vital role in their decision making. They usually end up taking advice on their career by someone else that they respect or adore. This is one of the major factors people avoid their intuitions and start living their life with other people’s expectations. Always take advice from someone who is from the same industry or have significant experience of the field you want to work in.

IIPTA is the only institution I can know of to start a career in IPR field. If not IIPTA I couldn’t get placed in IP sector for sure, that too Within the period of 15 days and all of this was possible only because of the lecture, samples and the live session provided during the course, where I can also clear all my doubts. The faculty were very supportive and helpful in every possible manner, even now as I got placed. Thank you for all the help I could get and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

    FAQs

    Couse Questions

“How will this certificate help me?”

It depends on who you are…

If you’re a student, this certificate can set you apart from other graduates who merely have a degree, but need specialized skills that employers today are desperately seeking.

If you’re in academics, this certification is a great way to gain new knowledge which can help you in research projects or getting funded.

If you’re an employee or working professional, this certificate can make you add extra income and you can opt for freelance projects.

If you’re an employee or working professional, this certificate can make you more valuable to your company, which is the surest way to get that raise or promotion you likely already deserve (but don’t have a tangible reason to request).

If in the long term you are looking for self-employment, you can appear for Government Patent Agent Exam. This is government certification and you can start your own practice as a patent consultant.

“How long do I have to complete the class and take the test once I am enrolled?”

You can move at your own pace! We understand that life happens and that just because you enrol today that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to finish (or even start) the class this week. And that’s ok! You can take up to 3 months to finish the course but the recommended time is 1 month so that we can conduct your interviews in companies.

“How long does it take to finish the course and receive my certification?”

Within 3 months, you will be easily able to finish the course.

“Will I become a graduate after getting the certification if I take the class?”

No. A certification that can simply be purchased isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. That’s why our courses are challenging. To get the certificate, you have to complete all assignments and give end examination.

    “How difficult is the test?”

You’ll find that the test is “satisfyingly difficult.” By that I mean, it’s difficult enough that you need to actually know the materials, but it isn’t tricky or difficult just for the sake of being difficult.

    “How valuable is this certification?”

The certification itself is highly valuable if you need to set yourself apart from the competition. What’s far more valuable than any badge or certificate, however, is the actual knowledge you’re going to receive when you take this class and pass all the tests. Most importantly, getting the right job in the right company which uses your skills and give you better salary packages.

“What if I fail? Am I allowed to retake the test?”

Yes, you make retake the test up to 2 times (for a total of 3 attempts). After 3 failed attempts, you will be required to retake the class (which you can do for free) and all the module quizzes prior to attempting the final exam again.

     “Are scholarships available?”

At this time no scholarships are available. Fortunately, we have priced our classes so that they are affordable to all.

“ Can a freshers get the job?”

As a fresher, the biggest concern is which would be the right field of interest to work in. And then get into the profession with complete practical and commercial knowledge. This course is designed for any graduate whether you’re a fresher or experienced who want to contribute his skillset with legal fundamentals and help develop their company.

    What is IPR?

IPR also known as Intellectual Property Right gives you the right to own the unique creation of your mind. It enables you to establish your name and earn money from what you have created/invented. By making a right balance between your creation and public interest, it gives you the right to own your creation for a limited period of time.

With the help of IPR legal. The inventor / creator or his next of kin gets the exclusive right to fully use his invention / creation for a limited period of time i.e. 20 years.

IPR is established to give the creators/inventors their due respect for their intellectual Ideas and creation. So, that their knowledge can be shared with people all around the world . This sharing of knowledge help humanity to grow and use the technology in their day to day life and make the better world for future generation.

What are the advantages of Intellectual property rights ?

It takes a lot of work, money and time to invent/create something new. Thus, we need to protect the knowledge of creator from unlawful use at least for a period of time. It also gives creator the time and money to develop their invention/creation for further use.

    Advantages of IPR : –

    • Creator can protect their creation for a period of time
    • It provides security, time and money required to protect their creation/idea.
    • IPR aids economic growth of the country.
    • It encourages healthy competition in industrial development.
    • It provides a system for dealing with infringement, piracy, and unlawful usage.
    • All Information of IP is published for general public except Trade secrets.

    Career Questions

Will I be changing my field ?

No. If you look closely every invention and idea requires a lot to become a viable technology. A patent professional makes sure that technology from the invention is unique and profitable.

If you become a patent professional:

    • You can stay in your current field, apply new information to research, file patents for your own ideas or those of others in any discipline, not just yours, and become a more competent and responsible researcher/professional.
    • You can join any R&D organization in the IP department (in your field or any other field if you wish). Yes, nowadays, every good R&D department of a company has an IP cell.
    • If you want, you can work for a law firm (you don’t need a law degree because have to be a registered patent agent, right?). That’s significant.

You can even create your own consultancy firm and provide IP and patent advice to other people, such as researchers.

Why are you not getting job after the interview?

You aced your job interview for a position you truly desire. Your answers were spot-on, you were able to connect with the interviewer, and your test went well, but you have yet to hear from your soon-to-be boss. As aggravating as it may be, not receiving a response after an interview is a common occurrence. There can be many reasons for not getting the response such as not “tailoring” your CV correctly, not applying with the proper procedures, having a resume that is longer than it should be for your experience, and a variety of other reasons are all common causes for not receiving job.

In this course, we help and guide our students to crack the interview by assisting them with resume alteration according to the job and company, by conducting mock interviews to build the confidence of the candidate.
