I guess wait for all Patent Agent Examination Aspirants is over. Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of commerce and industry has published notification for amendment in Patent Rule 2003.

In the Patent Rules, 2003, in rule 110,-
(a) in sub-rule (2), against the paper relating to Viva voce, for the figures “100”, the figures “50” shall be substituted;
(b)for sub-rule (3), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“(3) A candidate shall be required to secure a minimum of fifty marks in paper I and Paper II and shall be declared to have passed the examination only, if he obtains an aggregate of sixty per cent of the total marks.”.

The new rule implies that candidate now requires a total of 150

[(100+100+50)*60%] in aggregate to pass with a minimum of 50 in Paper 1 and Paper 2.
