M.Pharma graduate from Nagpur found her career in IP

Isha Prasanna Sohale has done M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur with 7.65 CGPA. Later, she did her training programs titled “Patent Filing, Search and Drafting” and “Drafting and processing of patent application” from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Intellectual Property Management, Government of India.

She also participated in the DST sponsored national conference on “Natural Products in Health care” and presented a research paper entitled “Multi Potential applications of Dandelion: A Current Review”. Attended a workshop on “cGMP in Pharmaceuticals manufacturing: records and reports”.

She has an IP subject in her Pharmacy which she finds very interesting. Later, she joined the IIPTA Program i.e., Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law and Management. She came from Nagpur to Mumbai only for this. She said “it was not easy for her but ultimately it was worth it since Cheshta Sharma ma’am taught hard topics in an easier way”. She finds Patent Drafting a very interesting topic of IPR.
