Biotechnology graduate changed her career to IP

Japneet was working in a beverage company where she found that there was nothing new coming up, daily the same tests were repeating. Then she thought of giving a try to IPR, which she had studied during her graduation. She asked her college professor about the scope, courses related to it. She doesn’t want to do long term courses. Then, she pursued a Post- graduation Diploma in IPR from NALSAR along with her job. While doing her PG Diploma she realized that she started liking IPR and wanted to opt for it as her career.

She also enrolled in IIPTA’s JOPAT Program. She described that both courses are good but the difference between them is that, PG Diploma is more theoretical but JOPAT Program is more practical, it includes hands-on-training, what exactly industry want, placement facilities etc. By the guidance of IIPTA she got a placement in one of the top IP companies.

She has experience of working in the beverage company as a quality trainee and now she is working in IQVIA.
