B.Tech Mechanical engineer got placed as Patent engineer

Manan has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical engineering and has strong analytical skills. He wants to do work in a field where he can use his analytical and technical skills. He came to know about the IPR field through one of his friends. Then he enrolled in the IIPTA’s JOPAT Program where he learned practical knowledge of IPR. Live classes are taken by the professional ones who guide him properly from basic to advanced about the Patent. Live videos are recorded, so that those who were not able to attend live can see recorded lectures.

He said IIPTA taught him Patent searching, Patentability searching, FTO searching, Invalidity searching, Prior art searching, Patent laws of Indian, US & European jurisdictions, Patent prosecution, Patent forms, Patent infringement, Patent Drafting etc. He especially liked how IIPTA taught with preference given to the practical aspect of knowledge of IPR.

He thanked IIPTA because of its assistance, he was able to get a job in one of the top IP companies. Now he started his career as a Patent engineer in the IP industry.
