How a Mechanical engineer got placed in Invent IP?

Rohit was preparing for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE conducted by the UPSC) for the past 6-7 years. He cleared prelims but was not able to crack the mains exam. He said that his luck was not on his side. He tried his hand in other things like content-writing but was not satisfied with that.

During his college days, he and his classmates were filing for a Patent. He has little knowledge about IPR and was also curious about it.

One day he attended IIPTA’s webinar and learned about their 3 months JOPAT Program. He didn’t want to opt for manufacturing or design work that’s why he chose IPR for his career. Then, he joined IIPTA’s JOPAT Program to polish his knowledge. By the proper guidance of IIPTA he was able to get a job in Invent IP Legal Services.

He has completed his B.Tech in Mechanicals. Now he has started his IP career in Invent IP Legal Services as an Associate Researcher.
