Biotechnology Students shares her journey how starts her career in patent industry

Neha did her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Jamia Hamdard University. After completing her masters Neha has worked in a laboratory where she found that there is no growth in the Biotechnology field. She had an IPR subject in her graduation and also liked it but she had only that much knowledge which was written in the book. She doesn’t know more about it.

Her professor and friend guided her. They described how great the scope of the IPR sector is. She researched more about the IPR field and from where she can do IPR courses.

Later, she came to know about the IIPTA and its course i.e., JOPAT (Job Oriented Patent Analyst Training Program). She called there to know what exactly the course constituted. She liked it and then she enrolled in the 3 months training course.

During her 3 months course, IIPTA taught her Patent searching, Patentability searching, FTO searching, Invalidity searching, Prior art searching, Patent laws of Indian, US & European jurisdictions, Patent prosecution, Patent forms, Patent infringement, Patent Drafting etc .

She really liked IIPTA’s services like recorded sessions and live classes. Now she is working with one of the top IP companies i.e., Knowledgentia Consultants.
