- The Mapping of Intellectual Property Awareness in the State of Tamil Nadu” in a round table meeting.
Tamil Nadu Technology Development and Promotion Center of Confederation of Indian Industry, Chennai is organizing a Seminar on “Leveraging Intellectual Property Rights for a Creative and Innovative India”. The seminar is going to focus on utilizing Intellectual property and how to use it as a growth initiator rather than growth inhibitor. The Government is intent on making India a superpower and is of the opinion that IPR enforcement is a part of it. The aim of this session is to promote awareness. This seminar is conducted in cooperation with The United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office, IP Association of South India and Lexix Nexis.

The Centre for Intellectual Property and Technology Law (CIPTEL), Jindal Global Law School is organizing the Second Chapter of the IP Law Student Research Colloquium – “Enthusiasm,” on the World IP Day, i.e. 26 April, 2015.
This event is being conducted in order to promote research in IP law by students. The event encourages students to present their papers. The theme of the event is “Innovation and IP” and it is a platform given for students to showcase their creative writing and research skills.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry are organizing a range of events to celebrate the World IP day. They have organized activities spanning 5 days.

- Judiciary Roundtable at Ahmedabad on 27th April 2015
- Conference on “IP as Frontline Tool for ‘Make in India’” on 29th April 2015
- One day National Conference on Development & Protection of Traditional Music ‘Creators and Performers’ Rights in Jharkhand
The main objective of this Conference is to bring all the Traditional Music ‘Creators and Performers’ on to a single platform to enlighten them about their Intellectual Property Rights and the ways of protection, method of commercial exploitation etc.,
In continuation, CSRIPR is coming up with the Workshop on ‘Development & Protection of Traditional Music ‘Creators and Performers’ Rights in Jharkhand’ on 26th April, 2015 (Sunday) in collaboration with MSME Jharkhand to provide a common platform to deliberate upon the various ways and means required to be adopted for the development of IPR in Jharkhand and the role of different stakeholders
